XPENG debuts its first right-hand drive XPENG X9 globally at the Singapore Motorshow 2025. The MPV is the brand's second model in Singapore, after the XPENG G6. Visitors who also purchase the XPENG G6 could win an exciting overseas trip for two to any of five incredible destinations.
[Singapore, 9th January 2025]- XPENG Motors (NYSE: XPEV), a global leader in smart electric vehicles, today announced the debut of its highly anticipated seven-seater MPV, XPENG X9, at the Singapore Motorshow 2025. The spacious, intelligent, and stylish X9 will make its global preview as a right-hand drive (RHD) model at the nation's largest automotive event, happening at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, from 9 to 12 January 2025.
Visitors to XPENG's booth (#3107) will be among the first in the world to experience this RHD model, poised to redefine the MPV market. With cutting-edge intelligent technology, exceptional performance, and proprietary features that blend agility and comfort, the XPENG X9 delivers an unparalleled driving experience for the driver and unmatched comfort for passengers.
XPENG X9: For the Drive, For Life.
Designed with drivers in mind, and with its futuristic body design, the XPENG X9 is an ultra-smart, seven-seater luxury MPV. Similar to the other cars in the XPENG family, the X9 is built on XPENG's cutting-edge SEPA2.0 platform with 800V architecture and the most advanced software technology which elevates the versatility and breaks the stereotypes of all traditional MPVs in the market.
Cruising in at 5,293 mm in length and 1,988 mm in width, the XPENG X9 comes with two battery packs (84.5 kWh and 101.15 kWh). The latter offers the MPV a maximum WLTP driving range of up to 575 km, while the former up to 480 km. With a charging capacity of up to 330 kW, charging the battery from 10 to 80% takes no longer than 20 minutes - 50% faster than some of its main competitors in the market, thanks to the class-leading 800V architecture.
Capable of reaching a maximum speed of 200 km/h, both XPENG X9 Standard and Long-Range variants generate 235kW of peak power and 450Nm of torque, and boasts a respectable 0 to 100km/h acceleration time of 7.7 seconds. The X9 is also equipped with an 83% high-strength steel-aluminium hybrid body that offers superb rear collision protection, and 70.9-litre extra-large side curtain airbags to ensure complete safety through the cabin in the event of an accident. Through its class-exclusive rear wheel turning technology, the X9 has a turning radius of as low as 5.4 metres - even lower than traditional small and compact SUVs - perfect for manoeuvrability across lanes and obstacles.
Designed to meet the needs of both individual and family travel, the XPENG X9 can also be configured into a spacious four-seater SUV with a single click, electrically folding the third-row seats. This expands its boot volume from 755 litres to 2,554 litres, suitable to accommodate various user needs, from transporting furniture items like basic storage solutions and accent pieces, to travelling with several 20-inch suitcases with ease.

The XPENG G6 coupe SUV, the brand's inaugural model built on its next-generation technology architecture, will also be showcased at the event, and available for test drives.
First introduced to drivers in Singapore in July 2024, the XPENG G6 Standard variant accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds, while the Long-Range variant achieves the same in just 6.2 seconds. Both variants reach a top speed of 200km/h. Charging the coupe SUV - for both variants - from 10% to 80% takes less than 20 minutes. This offers up to 435 km of WLTP range for the Standard, and extends to 570 km for the Long-Range.

From 9-12 January 2025, visitors who purchase an XPENG model at Booth #3107 stand a chance to win an overseas trip for two to either Amsterdam, Bali, Bangkok, Guangzhou, or South Korea.
Following the Singapore Motorshow 2025, the XPENG X9 will be displayed at the XPENG Showroom at 281 Alexandra Road, the brand's fourth brand experience store in Southeast Asia. The X9 will be available for purchase from end-January onwards..
